Rocky Fork Mules, Diamonds and Packing, LLC is in the business of providing horse and mule packing instruction and clinics to the public. This includes defensive horsemanship training, basic and advanced packing instruction, trail riding practices/techniques and back country camping with livestock with "leave no trace skills" in wildland settings. Clients are encouraged to use their own livestock and are expected to have basic horsemanship skills, appropriate livestock, equipment and will need to provide their own transportation to the trailhead.
Our goal is to provide back country horsemanship and packing experiences for small groups (2-4 people) in three to four day trips into the Gravelly Mountain Range, Beaverhead National Forest, Montana. Rocky Fork Mules, Diamonds and Packing operates under Special Use Permit on the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest.
Summer pack trips and drop camps are also available in the Wall Creek, Horse Creek drainages and Teepee Basin area of the Gravelly Range. Livestock and equipment can be provided for small groups.
