Packing season in the Gravelly range runs from mid June to early October, depending on weather, snow and trail conditions.

Basic Packing - one day - getting started, equipment, techniques, and stock management.
Specializing in "Leave no Trace" back country camping and Mule & Horse Packing instruction in a wildland setting.
We at Rocky Fork Mules, Diamonds and Packing take packing instruction past the books and parking lot demonstrations. And take you to a wildland setting, away from the cell phones for some small group, individual hands on instruction and premier learning experience. All designed to make packing our horses and mules in the backcountry fun.
